THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE Movie Reviews, Merlin (James A. Stephens), the great wizard has three students: Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage), Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), and Veronica (Monica Bellucci). Unfortunately, Merlin is one of the students finally chose in favor of Morgana le Fay (Alice Krige) and betray his teacher. Merlin died but before his last breath, this witch had told him at Balthazar. Someday Merlin will appear offspring who will be the key to defeat Morgana.
When she was fighting against Morgana, Balthazar had locked the two witches in a doll-shaped prison. Maxim, too cooped up in it. Balthazar task now is to find descendants of Merlin which will be against Morgana who have unimaginable power.
Year of change but Balthazar is still waiting for Merlin's heir to the clan of this until one day he met a young man named Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel who turns out to be the next generation of Merlin.
